We are live in Prada's world, its her way or the high way! She is just a giant ball of sass! Prada is one of our intermediate/advanced rider favorites. She's a hard worker but lets you know when you are doing things wrong. She knows her job and she does it well!
Lilo

Lilo is a kick butt speed event horse. She loves to work and is one of our hardest workers at the barn. She is also one of our hardest horses to ride at our barn. She has a lot of go and if your not ready for it, she will give you a run for your money.

Beginner and up riders. Luna Tuna is one of our pride and joys to the program. No matter what level of rider you are, Luna will teach you something! She slows down based on what type of rider you are and is incredibly patient while each of our riders are learning. If it is your first time at the barn, you will probably get the pleasure of riding Luna.
Ollie

Barrel racing, pole bending, Queening and Team roping(heading).
Advanced beginner and up. Mr. Old Man Ollie is our oldest horse in the barn. But don't let that fool you, he still has the go and the sass. He's a good step up from JJ and Luna, he will give his rider a challenge with all his quirks. We love this old man to pieces and we appreciate his patience teaching our students.

Finnigan
2016
Finnigan is our smallest horse at the barn. He is a little ball of personality and is the little mascot of our barn! If you take one of his buddy's away, you will definitely hear him screaming at you.

Addy is one of the sweetest giant you will ever meet. She is Katie's personal horse and is only for our advanced riders. But she loves to say hi to every student passing by her stall. If you get the chance to see her working, you'll know how much of a workaholic she is!

He's a fantastic challenge for those advanced riders needing a leg workout and a wonderful step up for those confident kiddos looking for a bit more speed!
Slider
2011
High intermediate-Advanced rider. Barrel racing, Roping, and queening.
Slider is finished on barrels and is only for our advanced rider! She is the sweetest mare on the ground and will love on you all day long. But... she's got a spicy and speedy side in the saddle so is only used for our advanced riders! She is quirky and a challenge but we love her, and she's a great challenge for our advanced riders in need of a step up!
Laudy
2012
Advanced beginner and up. Barrel Racing and Queening.
Laudy is a big teddy bear but in the saddle he's fast and he has some sass, so we save him for our confident riders. Intermediate and up rider. Team roping (heading + heeling), breakaway, and barrels.
Missy is as sweet as she looks! She's a total sweetheart, with a spicy side, and tries her absolute hardest to please. This little red mare is a darling on the ground and the most incredible teacher under saddle! She tries her best to be patient while you're learning and is a great step up horse for our beginner riders, but watch out... don't want to accidentally press those fancy buttons! Missy's a wonderful teacher and is guaranteed to teach you something, whether its roping, or just horsemanship!
Robbie
2000s
Beginner and up rider.
Robbie is another sweet old man who we have in our program. He was a kids gymkhana horse for many years and now has a job teaching beginner riders how to ride! If you want to have a giggle or two in your lesson, Robbie's the way to go! He will make you laugh with his goofy old man personality! And don't forget to give him some snuggles before you put him back in his stall!

Benson (Part Time employee)
2000s
Beginner and up. Team Roping.
Benson is a wonderfull all around worker! He tries his best at everything you tell him to do and gets really excited when he sees cows or a dummy! Benson is loved by many of the littles but is also loved by everyone in our roping program! He's a patient teacher and will make you work for what you want, but don't worry, he makes it up with his silly side!
Our Horses not in program but at the barn!!
Katie takes extreme pride in all of her horses, even the ones who aren't in the program currently! Here's all of Katie's other horses that are at the barn!! Feel free to say hi to them from their stalls:)

Tru
2023
Tru is the sweetest filly you will ever meet! She will beg for love from anyone that walks anywhere near her stall and will not leave you alone until you give her some kind of attention; so make sure you say hi! Katie's plan is to make her a rope and barrel horse, and use those handy dandy Hancock athletic skills!
Shiraz
2023
Shiraz is the beefiest baby you will ever see! She's got thickness for days! Katie's planning on training her in breakaway and barrels, and I'm sure in the future, she will be a little lesson pony! She's a lazy bones, but wants her job to get done right! We can't wait to see what she accomplishes! Hopefully her bloodlines is that proven potential to make a bomb rodeo horse!

Trix
Trix was bought to be a roping horse prospect but she is just not cut out for the sport! But boy is she pretty and a sweetheart, so she is one of Katie's APHA broodmares! We are getting a baby out of her for 2026 who we are so excited for and will make a wonderful futurity barrel horse!

Kartel
Kartel is one of Katie's barrel projects! He came off the track and has proven barrel horse papers and we are just hoping for that bloodline potential! Fingers crossed he makes that 1D barrel horse for Katie and can make a talented lesson horse in the future!

Peep
2022
Peep is a baby Katie saw and just HAD to have! She's a smart cookie and is the most cuddliest horse you will meet! She's going to make the best all around horse and will probably be a lesson horse in the future, cause boy does she like the attention from everyone! Make sure you give her some cuddles on the way out of the barn!
Our workers in Heaven
This is a special dedication to all of our past equine friends who were apart of Az Rodeo Ready at one point in our program's journey! Even though they are no longer with us, we will forever appreciate their dedication and patience to teaching our students. We miss you guy's and can only imagine that you are competing and teaching in heaven!

Maggie

Intermediate and up rider. Team Roping (heading), Barrel Racing, and Pole Bending.
Don't let Ms. Maggie fool you, she still has A LOT of get up and go, and she knows her stuff! Maggie went to the world finals for heading 3 years! And took a junior rider to finals multiple times for barrel racing! Maggie might be an old lady but she knows her stuff and is happy to teach it! She is a big teddy bear on the ground and is a great step up for the riders ready for a little bit of spice and speed!
